The ethos of the business is to provide high quality, creative play opportunities using simple and natural tools and resources, whilst also creating a positive and welcoming environment where friendships between families are ignited, parents and carers feel warmly welcomed, learn about play and feel inspired to recreate the play activities at home.

All this is done with the main goal in mind: to create spaces in which children can relax into their play, enabling them to get creative and explore the play opportunities provided in their own unique ways.
Meet Amy, Founder and Chief Mess-maker!
Hi, I’m Amy, founder and chief mess-maker at The Sensory Club! I love working with people and have enjoyed a career working in lots of settings, from teaching in primary schools to community work, youth work and coordinating student union activities!
After the pandemic, and having my second child: a little lockdown babe, I felt compelled to get together all these bunches of parents who had spent so long isolated and so, The Sensory Club was born! It’s such a fun and creative way to spend my working days – I love it!
One of my fave things about it is creating spaces for people to feel welcome and at ease as they spend some quality time with their tiniest ones and other parents.
What to expect when you arrive
Location is everything! We love holding the club sessions at Robinswood Hill Social Club! There is a free carpark onsite, with plenty of spaces as well as being set in the centre of a safe residential area with lots of on-road parking available too! It’s perfect for heading off for a little walk or picnic on Robinswood Hill after the session too! The entrance to the social club is spacious and welcoming with flowers and hanging baskets showing the way inside! We use the well kept, spacious and clean function room complete with fairy lights and bunting making it very pretty! There are clean and accessible facilities including a baby changing area.
