In each themed weekly session, we’ll guide your child in developing crucial skills, stimulating their senses, nurturing their sense of self, and, most importantly, igniting their sense of fun!
What we get up to in our sensory play sessions
Each 45-minute session is a dynamic blend of guided exploration and free play, fostering a bond between you and your little ones as you venture on this exciting journey together. What sets us apart is our dedication to using simple and natural resources sourced from the world around us, keeping play uncomplicated yet endlessly captivating.
What to expect when you arrive
Location is everything! We love holding the club sessions at Robinswood Hill Social Club! There is a free carpark onsite, with plenty of spaces as well as being set in the centre of a safe residential area with lots of on-road parking available too! It’s perfect for heading off for a little walk or picnic on Robinswood Hill after the session too! The entrance to the social club is spacious and welcoming with flowers and hanging baskets showing the way inside! We use the well kept, spacious and clean function room complete with fairy lights and bunting making it very pretty! There are clean and accessible facilities including a baby changing area.

The Sensory Club is the best baby group I’ve been to! Me and my daughter both love it and always have so much fun playing and learning! There’s always something to do for all ages from newborn upwards and Amy always has ideas to include all ages in the activities which is great! Amy is so welcoming and friendly and creates such a relaxed environment that instantly puts you at ease when you walk through the door. The sessions have a good balance of group time and more independent play so you can spend quality time playing one on one with your little one but still gets to meet and socialise with other mums! We have done 2 seasons at the club and are definitely going to be coming again! Would highly recommend!

We absolutely love this group! Our favourite part of the week is sensory with Amy! As a younger first time mum I was so scared to go to a baby group on my own but Amy made us feel so welcome and now we’ve just signed up to our 3rd term and are so so excited! It’s always something new and exciting every week and always different! My little one has developed incredibly well and I feel it’s definitely because of this group!
All Sensory Club sessions must be both pre-booked and pre-paid in advance. It’s a quick and easy process with a secure online payment method so that when you arrive we can get straight on with the fun! Booking tends to close the day before sessions begin but you’ll occasionally find it’s still open the morning of, so worth checking or popping us a message to grab a last minute space!
The Sensory Sessions are suitable from birth up to 4 years of age. The play leader will guide you through how best to encourage your little one to interact with the activities depending on their developmental stage/age.
You can purchase a Season Pass giving you all 5 sessions in the season for:
- £32 1 child families
- £40 for 2 child families
Or you can opt for Pay as you Go at:
- £7.50 for 1 child families
- £9 for 2 child families
Sessions last for 45 minutes. We understand the importance of maintaining a balance between engagement and attention span so the 45 minutes are broken up into 3-4 sections of 10-15 minutes each, we find this is enough time for the children to get stuck into the activities and make the most of them before they are ready to move onto the next thing!
When joining a session you should be prepared for a little mess! It’s not always super messy but when it is you’ll want to make sure they’re not wearing their best outfit… and neither are you!
Bringing wipes, a small towel and a change of clothes is recommended. We’ll always message you the day before the session to let you know what’s in store and just how messy it will, or won’t, get!
Yes! You will receive a WhatsApp message the day before our sessions letting you know the theme for the session and if there are going to be any particularly messy activities to be prepared for.
